Update

Hello Everyone,

It has been a while since our last blog post. We wanted to make sure everyone was aware of where we are with our adoption process. Over the last couple of months we have attended several webinars, talked with many agencies, researched various countries, and continually sought the Lord’s will in this matter. The education we have received on international adoption has been awesome and will benefit us in the coming years. At this point and time, God is telling us to wait patiently. Several countries we desire to adopt from are currently closed or are about to close. We’re just a wee bit under the minimum age requirement for some countries as well. We’ve also had a recent stirring in our hearts about serving as foster parents in the future. Christie and I have a passion to live out the scripture that tells of God setting the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6). We believe the Lord will allow us to honor Him by being a “father to the fatherless” (Psalm 68:5). We’re just covering all of this in prayer and asking God to let His will be done. We will continue to update you. We sincerely appreciate everyone who has been praying for us.
